New exclusive îlot Colombo design! Weweldeniya cement tile

Weweldeniya pattern was conceptualised and designed by young talented Sri Lankan architect Sumedha Kelegama from Scales of Pangolin. Inspiration came from the traditional wicker of rattan furniture commonly found on Sri Lankan verandahs.

Cane is making a great come back all over the world since 2019. However, rattan craft is not new to Sri Lanka. Weweldeniya, a small village on the way to Kandy from Colombo, has been the Sri Lankan cane capital for decades now.

Weweldeniya pattern is the second exclusive îlot Colombo pattern from the Sri Lankan Heritage collection. And like all our cement tiles, colour combination for Weweldeniya is 100% customisable.
